California Mille 2012-13

2012: some axle trouble round 1 - BUT Hans, Samantha and Healey finished …twice is the charm in a Healey 100/4 as Hans has now proved without a doubt. After a cosmetic tidy up and some mechanical work for 2012 driving the Mille was a blast. Trouble you say? Several days in…an axle failed and Hans spent a cleverly executed night getting back on the road.  Succeed he did and finished just fine. Friend Cliff in his 356 Porsche joined him adding to the fun. Year two found Hans’ Healey, along with Nigel and Chris’ Alfa Giuliettas headed from our shops to SF for another go. Not a mechanical flaw on round 2 for Hans. But a rock did find the windscreen on the final day. A great time was had by all. Well done Mille and well done guys! The photos tell the tale...
