Sometimes They Arrive In Boxes… & Boxes… & Boxes!  Peter Started it … Quite some time ago.  Apart it came and there it sat …. For ages!  His lovely little 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spyder arrived as you see it here.

We finished taking it to bits ..then its onto a dolly & off to the media blaster.  On return we find  plenty of corrosion remediation to do followed by prep & paint.

FLOORS – SILLS – NOSE – TAIL –TRUNK –WHEEL HOUSE & QUARTER PANEL METAL WORK DONE Peter’s Alfa is solid and sound again.  Into our paint shop it goes to be turned out in the original Alfa shade of gray Peter had always wished it was.  Photos show metalwork completed as the engine gets restored with  upgrades and the body shell gets finished in that attractive shade of gray.

April 2021: As of this writing Peter’s Alfa is coming together nicely after decades spent in boxes.  The engine is built, dyno tested and installed with the rest of its restored drivetrain.   We sit on a restored suspension, brakes are done & plumbed, wiring is in process as instruments, chrome and fixtures are getting fitted.  Summer 2021 delivery means ARI Magazine VIII will have to finish this story.

Long block assembled and installed in the Alfa, waiting for the rest of the engine bay to be completed.
