Ray’s 184,000 mile + Toyota Supra did not look too bad …..BUT Ray wanted it back to the way it looked circa 1992….and he wanted to drive it without worrying about years of wear and tear. The ARI crew went right to work on this Toyota’s re-manufacture. Above: Start point and yes, we found much more to fix then peeling clearcoat left apart then stripped & painted
Our 1st Look It all began when a collector asked the Gooding organization who had restored a Cisitalia 202SC they had on offer. “I’ve got a car that needs their magic” he said, & the Gooding guys were kind enough to refer him to us. The call came in on my cell. “It is a superb and very original Maserati but it really does not fit in my collection” he said. He was right, pictured above, right is what we found.
Sometimes you just want your Terrific Toyota back like it used to be….yep, we do that sort of work too! Ray’s 1998 Toyota had been with him since new and covered 185,00 trouble free miles. He loved it. Our job: chk carefully, correct wear & deterioration – refinish – reseal – Reupholster – recycle ready for the next 100,000 miles. WE DID JUST AS ASKED
