Walter's Wonderful WSM

At one point Walter, our racing division VRS, and I had campaigned a quick and nimble WSM Sprite achieving a good measure of competition success. WSMs (Wilson Spratt Motors)  are aerodynamic, AH Sprite based small bore endurance racing coupes built during the sixties in very limited numbers. Walter had acquired his not long after its Sebring race in the early sixties. He drove it a bit and then retained it for future restoration if and when funds were found. Fast forward to the mid 1980’s and we find Vintage Racing Services hard at work restoring WSM #207. We then vintage raced it together until the early 2000s. We had a blast. Later we sold the WSM to Ray Davis in concert with none other than Anthony Wilson Spratt, son of the creator of all WSMs. It now campaigns among its brethren in UK and Europe regularly.
