2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
Chevrolet unveiled a new version of the C7 Corvette in 2017, a callback to American racing heritage: the Corvette Grand Sport. The C7 Grand Sport fell between the basic Stingray and the Z06, providing a remarkable upgrade to track performance without creeping into the 6-figure pricepoint. The Grand Sport shares the same suspension and chassis with the Z06, including wider rear haunches, massive carbon-ceramic brake calipers, and magnetorheological dampers thanks to the optional Z07 package. Ultra-sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires wrap around the upgraded 3LT chrome wheels providing 1.20 G's of lateral grip. The famous 6.2L LT1 sits under-hood, producing 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, and sends power to the rear wheels through an 8-speed manually selectable automatic gearbox. While designed for the track, the C7 Grand Sport maintains its drivability on public roads thanks to selectable suspension settings and comfortable interior amenities.
This 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport came from the factory with every option available, including the 3LT and Z07 packages. Some options included in these packages are upgraded wheels with track-ready Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, carbon-ceramic brakes, competition-style seats, upgraded suspension components, sport exhaust, and carbon fiber trim. Finished in Admiral Blue with white racing accents over a beautiful grey Alcantara and leather interior, this Corvette wears the Grand Sport name proudly. With only 2,300 miles, it is in flawless condition and drives as one would expect a brand new Corvette.
