2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S
Debuted in 2005, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage was an instant hit. The original 4.3L V8 produced 380 horsepower, and the car was praised both for its balanced road manners and intoxicating sound. That engine, however, would only last two production years and was replaced with an aluminum block V8 in 2008. The new engine featured several updates, but the most significant was an increase in displacement to 4.7L. The new V8 produced 420 horsepower in the basic Vantage, but Aston Martin soon announced an even more powerful option. The V8 Vantage S, unveiled in 2011, offered an even more performance-oriented version of an already phenomenal luxury sports car. With an additional 10 horsepower, less restrictive exhaust, carbon fiber aerodynamic enhancements, a Formula 1 style 6-speed sequential gearbox, and an additional focus on weight reduction, Aston Martin improved upon nearly every aspect of the already adored V8 Vantage.
This 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S is finished in a rare, equally stunning Marron Black Metallic paint over a two-tone cream and brown interior. With only 28,000 miles on the odometer, the 4.7L V8 performs like its brand new and illustrates Aston Martin's ability to create some of the best sounding engines to be fitted in a road car. This Vantage S is in phenomenal condition throughout, having been protected by a clear 3M protective film for most of its life. For the modern British motoring enthusiast, few cars are capable of offering the same style and substance.
