From 1969 through 1972 when Porsche offered a six cylinder version of the 914 it was not a particularly big hit. Oh, how times have changed. Indeed, the 914-6 has become a true cult classic among Porscheophiles, and with good reason. When you pack that much horsepower in a mid-engine, lightweight body, the performance and handling are nothing short of astounding. This car lived most of its life in California and was painstaking restored to perfection, in part by highly regarded Camp 914 in Oregon, about 15 years ago. To this day the car shows in as new condition. In a private Porsche collection on the east coast now for the last 10 years, it has been beautifully cared for and is truly turn key and ready to enjoy. It is all matching numbers, Adriatic Blue and black leatherette are original colors for the car, and it comes with all of its original tools and manuals and the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Mileage is original at 66,000.
