Ferrari 330 GTC’s, universally viewed as the most user friendly of all the front engine Ferrari V12’s, are not super rare cars: 598 were produced from 1966 to 1968. What is super rare, is the ownership history of this car: it has been in the same collector’s hands for the last 45 years. According to the Massini Report, the car was sold new to a Mr. Kobam in July of 1968 here in the USA. He owned the car for six years, selling to George Hadley in 1974. Then in 1980, the car was sold to the current custodian, Mr. Andrew Carr. Having cherished the car for all these years, Mr. Carr has decided to sell and he has entrusted us to handle the transaction.
Finished in gorgeous silver blue metallic (the car was originally delivered in silver: Grigio Argento), the original interior is black leather with gray carpets. We have done a comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic survey of the car and it is in wonderful condition in all respects. There are a couple of very minor issues that need attention which we will happily share upon request. The car comes with reams of documentation verifying the ownership history and the original mileage, which is 47,300. In 2013, the engine was comprehensively rebuilt by Greg Hunt of Kiwi Engineering… world renowned for his Ferrari engine work. (He has had 250GTO owners send him their motors from thousands of miles away!) This rebuild is fastidiously documented with photos, receipts and dyno results. The car comes with the original jack and spare, the original owner’s manual and the massive history file. No tools unfortunately. We invite your close inspection of this wonderful car.
