1965 Morgan Plus 4
The Morgan Works was established to create light, agile sporting machines. Decades of Morgan cars and competition victories since attest to the firm's innovative skill sets combining to keep the Morgan marque alive and well to this day through world wars and economic downturns. Most small manufacturers have come and gone over this term. Still, Morgan and the legend created by trial, rally, and racing Morgan's unique creations have persevered. With this backdrop, we would like to bring to your attention to a wonderfully restored Morgan Plus 4 chassis: #6018.
Chassis number 6018 features a flawless, fashion forward exterior and interior color combination. British Racing Green, with metallic silver fenders, and a green leather interior offer a classy and timeless appearance. Yellow tinted fog lamps, as well as a sherpa lined bonnet tie down, and a green soft top to boot all compliment the beautiful wood grain seen in the dashboard and steering wheel. The engine features two Weber carburetors, breathing in air thanks to a set of velocity stacks, and an Offenhauser valve cover, with custom Morgan script hand painted onto the intake side of it. The restoration, while mostly done by the hands of a Morgan enthusiast, was completed circa 2016, with partial service records on hand from us completing the restoration. #6018 is now ready to tackle the roads again with a new caretaker who will enjoy both it’s handsome appearance, and charmingly Morgan performance.
