1964 Porsche 356C Sunroof Coupe
We are pleased to offer this gorgeous and rare 356C Sunroof Coupe. The early history of the car is not well known, but it was certainly a European delivery car given the kilometer speedo, the corduroy seat insert, and because it was delivered new with the Euro style heater blower. History from 1990 forward is known in detail and is supremely well documented. Around 2003 highly regarded 356 restorer Gary Kempton of GK Restorations in Florida did a complete restoration. His work is fully documented with many dozens of photos of the entire process including many photos of the car before the restoration showing a really nice clean car. The matching number motor, #730018 was completely rebuilt with the 1720 big bore kit. Vic Skirmants rebuilt the non-matching but correct year and type of transmission, #71123. The car has been in the current owner’s stable for a number of years and has been cared for beautifully. It’s a lovely car with some great options including the sunroof, headrests, and a Carrera II wood wheel. Now available for your inspection
