1953 Allard K3
This lovely K3, one of just 63 produced, has led a decidedly charmed and pampered life. Sold new in 1953 by Noel Kirk Motors in Los Angeles, the car had just two California owners from new until 2014. Those six decades in the gentle environs of California would explain the car’s exceptionally well preserved original condition. With one respray roughly 30 years ago in the original color, the rest of the car is untouched and original. Mileage from new is just 50,200. It has always been well cared for and a recent lengthy road test confirms how well sorted the car is for real driving. Performance from the Cadillac 331 V8 is robust, shifting the original Ford three speed manual transmission is a breeze and the handling is solid and predictable.
